It reeks of the sort of backroom nonsense that voters are sick of, and frankly, he got what he deserved.
Now, as Gonzales crawls away in disgrace, Texas District 23 is getting the kind of candidate the grassroots actually want: Brandon Herrera. He isn’t a career politician, but a firearms expert, a business owner, and someone who actually lives America First values—not just talking points for the cameras. While Gonzales scrambled to save his own skin, Herrera was out earning real, solid endorsements from those who put America above the old Republican guard’s tired failures.
Of course, liberals in the media are giddy, hoping this will paint the GOP with a broad brush. But let’s cut through their fake outrage.
