Gas prices are punching Americans in the gut yet again. On Friday, the national average for a gallon hit $3.32—the highest since last September. Everyday Americans who need to get to work, pick up their kids, or just enjoy their weekend are paying the price. And while the global mess in the Middle East pours gasoline on this fire, everyone knows who actually gets burned: We the people.
What’s worse is the way the political class tries to spin this disaster. They want us to believe these sky-high costs are just bad luck or someone else’s fault. They’ll blame war in Iran, greedy oil companies, or supposedly “extreme weather.” But anyone who has been paying attention knows this is exactly what happens with the kind of reckless, weak foreign policy and short-sighted energy “leadership” we keep getting shoved down our throats from the globalist elite.
President Trump has never been shy about boasting over cheap gas and American strength. Now, the establishment is licking its chops, hoping that global chaos will take another win away from the America First movement. But here’s the thing: even as these new gas highs hit the headlines, Trump himself isn’t panicking or caving to the pressure. He knows how to get this country back on track—by putting American energy first and telling our enemies to get lost.
Where are the climate activists now, with their grand promises that surrendering our energy independence would fix everything? How about the Biden-era bureaucrats who waged war on drilling and pipelines, while making us more dependent on unstable countries that hate us? The result is plain as day—higher prices, less security, and ordinary Americans footing the bill. Liberals are quick to blame shifts in the wind, but let’s face it: their hypocrisy and incompetence keep filling up our tanks with pain.
It didn’t have to be like this. Americans deserve affordable gas, strong borders, and leadership that puts our needs ahead of failed foreign experiments. If the left’s answer to every crisis is more pain for working families, maybe it’s time we stop listening to them altogether. Why should hard-working Americans sacrifice their livelihoods on the altar of globalist schemes?
