Patriots across the land cheered. After years of weak, apologetic leadership under the left, it felt good to hear a President put Americans first.
But politics is never that simple, especially with the left constantly working to tie America’s hands. The world doesn’t just walk away from a strong United States — it tests us, every single day. Liberals whine and complain about American power, but the minute a dictator rattles his saber or terrorists strike abroad, who do they cry out for? Not France. Not Germany. They turn to us, every time.
Trump understood this ugly truth: if America steps back, tyrants fill the void. China and Russia, both hungry to dominate, love nothing more than a weak, retreating America. The old Obama approach—leading from behind, apologizing for our greatness—nearly handed the keys of the world to our enemies. It was pure globalist incompetence on parade.
So, President Trump used America’s arsenal — not carelessly, but with a purpose. When rogue regimes threatened or terrorists struck, he didn’t wait for useless permission from the corrupt UN, or let bureaucrats in Brussels dictate our moves. Trump reminded the world who sets the rules. He showed we won’t apologize for defending ourselves or our allies.
The liberal media loves to clutch their pearls and whine about “forever wars,” but the truth is simple: showing strength saves American lives. Letting our enemies call the shots—like the Democrats want—puts every single one of us in danger. Trump didn’t volunteer us to police the world, but he made sure our enemies know there are consequences for crossing the United States.
America is not the world’s janitor, cleaning up after feckless left-wing diplomats. But a strong America—one that doesn’t bow or tremble—stops evil before it reaches our shores.
