When America faces enemies, we expect our leaders to take a stand. But apparently, some folks in Congress are still stuck in denial. Fifty-three House Democrats just voted against officially calling Iran a “state sponsor of terrorism.” Yes, you read that right—over four dozen representatives refused to acknowledge what anybody paying attention already knows: Iran funds, arms, and cheers for terrorists who want to destroy America and our allies.
This isn’t just weakness. It’s a slap in the face to every soldier fighting abroad and every American demanding safety at home. It’s about more than one vote—it’s a warning: the left has no problem cozying up to dangerous regimes if it means bowing down to the globalist agenda. These Democrats would rather play nice with mullahs in Tehran than defend the safety of American citizens.
Let’s not pretend Iran is misunderstood. Their leaders chant death to America, bankroll terror groups in the Middle East, and sponsor chaos around the globe. Even our own government has labeled them as troublemakers for years. Yet somehow, House Democrats couldn’t bring themselves to stand with their own countrymen and show a backbone on the world stage.
What drives this spinelessness? Maybe it’s raw anti-American bias, or maybe it’s just plain incompetence. Either way, these lawmakers put the interests of Iran and the DC elite above the people who actually matter: the American taxpayers and families whose safety is at stake. Is this the “leadership” the radical left wants to give us—turning a blind eye while our enemies laugh at us?
Here’s a thought for those 53 Democrats: If you can’t call out evil when you see it, maybe you don’t belong in Congress. The American people deserve honest patriots who are proud to stand up for what’s right—not puppet politicians who only care about pleasing their international pals. How long before the left finally remembers whose side they’re supposed to be on?
