San Francisco used to be a jewel of America. Now, it’s a cautionary tale. When even the mayor, Daniel Lurie, can’t walk safely through his own city, something is rotten in liberal paradise. The recent chaos in the Tenderloin should have every sane person outraged—if the guy with the armed security detail is getting caught up in street violence, imagine how regular folks must feel.
Liberal politicians have allowed San Francisco to spiral into lawlessness. They babble about “restorative justice” and “equity,” all while everyday people check over their shoulders on every corner. Instead of dealing with drug addicts, vagrants, and criminals, city leaders host panel discussions and plan new woke policies. It’s clear they care less about public safety than virtue-signaling to their globalist friends.
Let’s not pretend this is some rare fluke. The streets are war zones. The Tenderloin isn’t a unique case—it’s the predictable outcome of soft-on-crime policies and years of coddling criminals. Taxpayers fund sanctuary for lawbreakers while hard-working Americans have their livelihoods threatened. Meanwhile, the folks responsible for this mess hide behind their guards and gated homes and tell everyone to just accept it.
Hypocrisy runs deep. Liberals who demand “compassion” from their penthouses are the same people whose policies have created a city where even the mayor himself is a target. They refuse to admit their grand social experiments have failed. The real victims? Ordinary people who just want to live safely.
When the leaders aren’t safe, what hope is left for everyone else? If this is progress, we’ll take common sense any day. Maybe it’s time San Francisco’s elites experience a little more of the chaos they unleashed. How much more proof do people need that liberal “utopias” are nothing more than American nightmares?
