Chaos struck the streets of Peru last night. Thirty-three innocent people, out just to have a good time, were caught in the middle of a brutal nightclub bombing in Trujillo, along the country’s northern coast. But while families worry, global elites just shrug their shoulders. They love to preach about overseas “progress”—but when violence rips through communities, where are their so-called solutions?
This attack happened at the Dali nightclub, a name that now stands for tragedy and terror. Yet all the liberal talking heads can muster are empty platitudes about “unity” and “peace.” Funny how the same folks who want to open borders and push for leniency never want to talk about the hard reality of crime spiraling out of control—here or abroad. Meanwhile, people pay the price for their failed policies.
Peru might feel far away, but the lessons hit close to home. Weak leadership, soft laws, and unchecked criminal elements have disastrous consequences—no matter the country. The radical left won’t admit it, but every society that coddles criminals ends up like this: terrified citizens, ruined businesses, and blood in the streets.
What do liberals expect when they keep pushing for less police, fewer penalties, and fantasies about rehabilitation for hardened crooks? Just another story swept under the rug, so long as it fits their narrative. It’s time for leaders to wake up and put the safety of ordinary people above the feelings of criminals and the demands of globalists.
While the world’s so-called “progressives” wring their hands and make excuses, real people suffer. Maybe it’s time to stop listening to their failed ideas. Does anyone really want America turning into another soft-on-crime disaster zone like this? Ordinary folks deserve better than broken promises and bleeding hearts.
