Once again, Republicans face betrayal from within. Texans have had enough of politicians who pretend to stand for America First, but really serve the same old D.C. swamp. The spotlight is now on John Cornyn. For years, Cornyn has coasted in Washington, talking tough when it’s easy, but cozying up to every anti-Trump insider as soon as the cameras turn off.
Ken Paxton didn’t hold back this week. After the Texas GOP primary, which sent a loud message about where the grassroots stand, Paxton made it bluntly clear: people are sick of Cornyn’s empty “support” for the MAGA movement. Cornyn plays both sides—throwing MAGA slogans to the crowd, then turning around to undermine Trump and keep his establishment buddies happy. That’s not leadership; that’s cowardice.
Paxton called out what every conservative sees—Cornyn’s loyalty doesn’t lie with the America First movement. Instead, he’s attached himself to a group of “political survivors” who have waged war against President Trump from the shadows. These D.C. insiders have nothing but disdain for the everyday Americans who put Trump in office. They wrap themselves in the flag, then do everything they can to help the left destroy our borders, our freedom, and our values.
While liberal elites ridicule Texas for defending its sovereignty, Cornyn is out shaking hands with the very people attacking common-sense reforms. Liberals champion open borders, globalist trade, and woke ideology—all designed to weaken America and keep globalists in charge. Any Republican—especially a Senator from Texas—should be fighting back, not selling out.
How much longer will real patriots tolerate these wolves in sheep’s clothing? The time for lip service is over. The MAGA base demands fighters, not fence-sitters. Texas deserves senators who will defend America, not join forces with Trump’s enemies. If Cornyn can’t stand with the people, maybe it’s time he steps aside for someone who will.
