It’s funny how fast the Democrats can lose their voices when the spotlight turns on them. For years, they shrieked about Trump’s supposed connections to Jeffrey Epstein, acting like they were the only ones brave enough to expose the truth. But suddenly, the room goes silent when it comes out that these same Democrats were accepting donations from Epstein’s old friend—a megadonor with his own long, shady history with the disgraced sex offender.
The same people who made a show out of “demanding justice” look less like heroes and more like hypocrites. They raked in the cash, then pointed their fingers at anyone linked to Epstein—unless those connections were in their own house. Of course, when the money flows from elite globalist circles, somehow the outrage always dries up. They want to pretend they’re fighting for average Americans, but they’re actually just looking after their own bank accounts and high society friends.
This isn’t just a couple of bad apples, either. Top Democrats who loved the cameras and microphones, who went on and on about holding the rich and powerful accountable, won’t even answer basic questions about their big-dollar donations. They played judge and jury with others, but when it’s time to explain their own behavior, they hide behind closed doors.
Watching how quickly they turned quiet should make every American suspicious. Are these the people anyone should trust to clean up Washington? Or are they simply experts at crying “scandal” whenever it’s convenient, and hoping nobody notices their own dirt? It’s the age-old liberal playbook: accuse, distract, and run for cover when the spotlight lands on them.
Maybe it’s time the American people start asking tough questions, not just of the folks on the Right, but of the so-called “champions of justice” on the Left. What else are they hiding while they collect big donor checks and pretend they’re above it all? Democrats shouting about corruption are starting to sound an awful lot like the fox guarding the henhouse.
