This weekend, Iran struck Kuwait’s international airport, torching fuel tanks. They weren’t done there—Bahrain’s desalination plant also took fire, threatening water supplies. This is not just another Middle Eastern squabble. This is open, dangerous aggression happening right in front of a sleeping West.
For years, leftists coddled Iran, pretending that appeasement would turn the mullahs into reasonable global citizens. How’s that working out? Iran is sticking its fingers in the world’s eye and daring anyone to respond. While America argues about pronouns and social justice, Iran is attacking key infrastructure in countries that the U.S. is supposed to call allies. Does anyone in the Biden administration remember what “deterrence” means?
These attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain show that “peace through weakness” is a fantasy. The left would rather send billions to dictators and hope for the best. Meanwhile, American interests and stability in the Gulf are falling apart. The truth is simple: Enemies don’t respect hashtags and virtue-signaling tweets. They respect strength, and right now, they see none from Washington or Brussels.
Let’s stop pretending globalist slogans keep the peace. Iran’s missile and drone strikes are a test, and the West is failing. Regular people need to wake up to the facts. While elites in gated communities push their green energy dreams, real families overseas are watching their airports burn and their water supplies get poisoned—all because of reckless, weak leadership.
If America won’t stand up to Iran, who will? Maybe it’s time for our leaders to trade in their feel-good slogans for a backbone. Or will they just wait for the next missile to fly?
