For nearly half a century, America has watched the same nightmare unfold in the Middle East, time and time again. Hostile threats keep coming at us, our allies are put in danger, and yet the folks in charge just seem to twiddle their thumbs and hope the problem goes away. Mike Waltz spoke about it this week, but honestly, anybody with common sense should be outraged.
Operation Epic Fury sounds impressive, but let’s be real—why have we even let it get this far? Forty-seven years is a long time to pretend everything’s fine. Our leaders bend over backwards for global elites and pretend friendly talks will solve everything. Meanwhile, regular Americans and our soldiers always seem to pay the price.
When are we going to accept that weakness invites violence? Liberals line up to apologize, handcuff our military, and send ransom payments instead of sending a message. What’s the result? The same fanatics—unchanged for decades—keep testing us, daring us to do something. All while the so-called world community cheers from the sidelines, or worse, quietly roots against us.
America is supposed to lead, not cower. How many more families need to mourn because politicians are paralyzed by political correctness and globalist nonsense? Instead of standing with our friends and showing real strength, the left just issues more statements, more “thoughts and prayers,” and—surprise—nothing changes.
Enough of this failed thinking. If Washington won’t back up its words with action, why should anyone else around the globe trust us? The Middle East is a mess because America keeps letting the same bad actors off the hook. Maybe it’s time to stop asking, “Why does this keep happening?” and start asking, “When will we finally do what needs to be done?”
