Biden blames everyone but himself as gas prices skyrocket after Iran crisis

Another crisis, another round of empty promises from the Biden administration. This week, Energy Secretary Chris Wright appeared on camera, wagging his finger at America and telling us not to worry. Gas prices are climbing, but hey, it’s “just for a few weeks,” not “months.” As if working families have the patience—or the paycheck—to shrug off two-dollar jumps at the pump because the government says so.

It doesn’t take a genius to see what’s really happening. The White House’s reckless foreign policy drags us into one mess after another. Now, after military action in Iran, Americans are supposed to just accept that sky-high gas prices are somehow a “temporary” inconvenience? Tell that to the mom hauling her kids to school, or the trucker trying to keep food on grocery store shelves. Biden and his cabinet claim this “will pass,” but the reality is simple: every international blunder ends up hurting regular Americans right in their pocketbooks.

Liberals in Washington always have excuses. They claim it’s out of their hands—the international situation is “complicated,” so just sit tight. But these are the same anti-fossil fuel ideologues who attack American energy independence at every turn. They shut down pipelines, push job-killing regulations, and now act shocked when energy prices skyrocket. Only now do they pretend to care, when the pain is too glaring to hide.

Let’s be honest—this is exactly what the globalists want. High prices mean Americans are pressured to accept more government “solutions.” They want us dependent on foreign oil, on public transit, on whatever scraps the elites decide we can have. It’s hypocritical and anti-American. They can afford to laugh it off in D.C., while the rest of us get squeezed.

Americans are sick of being lied to and treated like children. Why should we trust another word from folks in power who never pay the price for their own bad decisions? Maybe next time they promise rosy news and “short-term pain,” someone should ask: when was the last time one of them actually filled up their own tank?
