The left has America so twisted that there are terrorists throwing real bombs at innocent protestors in the middle of Manhattan—and the only thing New York’s political elites can do is tiptoe around the facts. The NYPD just found another suspicious device in a car, right after two men—who reportedly traveled all the way from Pennsylvania—launched an improvised explosive at a crowd. But where is the outrage? The answer is simple: the woke establishment would rather cover their eyes than call out terror when it doesn’t fit their narrative.
Today, instead of standing with the victims or condemning the radicals behind this attempted murder, New York City’s own mayor tried to downplay the attack. He found the time to mention those who were targeted, but he couldn’t bring himself to actually name the suspects. Why? Because the woke playbook says it’s better to protect the feelings of potential terrorists than to speak the truth. If the roles were reversed, we all know these politicians would be singing a very different tune.
The NYPD deserves credit. They locked down the East End neighborhood swiftly and got the Bomb Squad in there before anyone else could get hurt. But let’s not kid ourselves—this never should have happened in the first place. Thanks to years of progressive policies and endless hand-wringing from city leaders, law and order has become a punchline in New York. How many more times do Americans have to watch our own streets turn into battlegrounds before Democrat leaders actually take their jobs seriously?
And don’t let the mainstream media fool you with their usual gaslighting. This wasn’t a hoax, and it wasn’t harmless. The device thrown during the protest was a genuine IED, yet the liberal press bends over backwards trying to distract from the brutal reality: homegrown terrorism is alive and well, and the radical left doesn’t want you to see it. They’d rather have you focused on made-up culture wars and fake outrage while they run cover for real threats.
At the end of the day, Americans have to ask themselves how much more of this lunacy we’re willing to tolerate. When will the radicals running our cities stop protecting criminals and start protecting the people? Or are we just supposed to accept terror plots in plain sight as the new normal in Joe Biden’s America?
