The political elite is at it again. As presidents and governors gather to honor Jesse Jackson, a so-called “civil rights leader,” the real agenda sneaks in—one that’s all about pleasing liberal special interests and pushing for even more taxes on hardworking Americans. While some praise Jackson’s past political campaigns, nobody wants to talk about how the left is using his memory to push their same old tax-the-rich schemes.
Barack Obama, ever the globalist darling, claims his own presidential victory was only possible because Jackson paved the way decades before. But what does that really mean? It means more excuses for failed leftist policies, more pandering to identity politics, and more top-down control from politicians who barely know what it means to earn an honest dollar.
And leave it to a liberal mayor to show up at this ceremony, not to celebrate American unity, but to demand higher taxes on the so-called “rich.” These are the same Democrat talking points we’ve heard for years—steal from successful citizens to fund another wave of bloated government programs. It’s all part of their tired playbook: divide Americans by race, demonize the wealthy, and shred the values that made this country great.
Let’s not pretend for a second that these policies are about true equality. When you hear this crowd talk about taxing the rich, what they really mean is punishing achievement and redistributing wealth. It’s about power and control, not lifting people up. Meanwhile, they’ll stand on stage, pat themselves on the back, and ignore the damage their policies do to small business owners, job creators, and ordinary families.
Jackson may have left his mark on politics, but the parade of hypocrites using his memory to squeeze more out of the American taxpayer is not something to celebrate. Real leadership means empowering citizens, not pushing for more government handouts and endless tax hikes. When will Americans wake up and see who’s really benefiting from these endless liberal stunts?
