It takes a lot for a Democrat to call out his own party, but that’s exactly what Jesse Jackson Jr. just did—and honestly, it’s hard to blame him. During his own father’s memorial, Jackson Jr. listened as not one, not two, but three former Democratic presidents used the stage to take cheap shots at their political enemies instead of honoring the late civil rights leader. This is the kind of self-obsessed, tone-deaf grandstanding that’s become the hallmark of today’s left.
While families mourned, Barack Obama and Joe Biden couldn’t pass up the spotlight to remind everyone how much they despise the other side. Instead of focusing on Reverend Jesse Jackson’s legacy, they rambled on about how America is in peril and how the other team is the enemy of “democracy.” Biden wailed about administrations that don’t share their “values”—as if being a conservative is some kind of criminal act.
Let’s be honest: everyone in that room knew exactly who they were attacking. They didn’t even bother naming him—they just resorted to the tired game of blaming Trump for everything under the sun. Is there no occasion sacred enough for the left to put their partisan hatred on hold, even for one day? Apparently not.
What’s even more insulting is that these so-called leaders acted as if their vision is the only one that counts and their policies are the only true path for Americans. They hijacked a memorial to push the same divisive, globalist narrative that’s driven this country apart. They proved, once again, that whenever Democrats talk about “unity,” they really mean “sit down and do what we tell you.”
Jesse Jackson Jr. nailed it by speaking up, and plenty of Americans—on both sides—are sick of liberals turning every stage into a campaign rally. It’s clear: the elite left doesn’t care about real unity, tradition, or even basic respect. They care about holding power, period. If even Jackson’s own son can see through the charade, how much longer will the rest of the country put up with it?
