America’s waking up today to another nightmare from the Left’s open-door policies. Two men—Emir Balat and Ibrahim Kayumi—were just slapped with federal charges for trying to help the Islamic State right here on our soil. Their “protest” near Gracie Mansion this weekend erupted into chaos when homemade bombs, including one loaded with TATP (the same deadly stuff terrorists love), exploded.
Let’s call this what it is: a wake-up call for every politician playing games with our safety. The so-called “protests” liberals love to defend keep turning into violent spectacles. And when radical extremists slip through the cracks, the consequences are catastrophic. The mainstream media wants you to believe these are just harmless demonstrations. Well, explosives on our city streets say otherwise.
What’s most infuriating? For years, bleeding-heart progressives have insisted that our terror problem is overblown or, worse, somehow our fault. They champion soft-on-crime polices, release criminals back onto the streets, and kneel for international interests instead of standing up for American lives. Meanwhile, radicals like Balat and Kayumi plot their next move under the protective cloak of political correctness.
We see the globalist playbook at work every single day. Flood our cities with unchecked migration, weaken border security, and brand anyone who dares object as a bigot. Now New York suffers the consequences, and innocent Americans pay the price so the Left can keep patting themselves on the back.
How many more close calls before leaders finally put America first? Bombs in our neighborhoods because politicians care more about optics than safety—is this really what “progress” looks like?
