The TSA agents who work these lines aren’t the ones at fault. Most are required to show up, but thanks to Democrat games in Washington, they’re not seeing paychecks. Why punish hard-working Americans just to score a cheap point in the open-borders immigration debate? It’s not even working for them. If you believe the polls, Immigration and Customs Enforcement is more popular than the people pushing this nonsense in Congress! Plus, ICE’s operations are fully funded—paid for under the current bills. So what exactly are Democrat leaders trying to achieve besides pure disorder?
Let’s get real. After January’s Minneapolis fiasco, Democrats could have backed a DHS funding plan. They had the chance to fix this. But their radical anti-border base said “no deal.” Instead, Democrats left most of the government on auto-pilot but forced a last-minute funding squabble for DHS. The Republican side tried for a short extension—just two more weeks to keep things moving. Democrats flat-out rejected it. Result: the agency basically shut down right before a busy holiday weekend. People in New Orleans saw airports more chaotic than an overseas refugee camp.
Every time these leftists have a tantrum, it’s the American people who lose. The wealthy political class, globalist elites, and Hollywood types aren’t stuck in the TSA line like the rest of us. Fly private, dodge the problem. Meanwhile, the regular citizen is left holding the bag—shoes off, belt off, digging through carry-ons while politicians congratulate themselves on cable news.
Thank a Democrat next time your vacation is ruined or your business trip is torpedoed by security lines that stretch back to the parking lot. The party that claims to care about the “little guy” is always first to wreck the day for law-abiding folks, all to protect their radical agenda and score cheap points with their activist friends. Why does the left seem so determined to make America less safe and less functional? Maybe because deep down, chaos keeps them in business.
