Why liberals would rather panic at the gas pump than stand up to Iran

America’s so-called “leaders” can’t stop panicking about oil prices, and it’s embarrassing. Every time the price of gas ticks up, the left starts hand-wringing, blaming President Trump, warning about “chaos,” or saying this is the end of civilization. Wake up. A small bump at the pump is nothing compared to the price we pay if we let Iran threaten the entire West.

President Trump gets it. He knows that peace and national security are worth far more than a few extra dollars for a tank of gas. Meanwhile, the same liberals crying about oil prices are perfectly happy to cozy up to brutal regimes if it means scoring cheap energy or scoring points with their globalist pals. They’ll stand in line to make deals with Tehran, all while pretending to care about “human rights” and “the environment.”

Let’s look at the facts. The only reason Iran rattles its saber is because weak American presidents let them. Trump stood firm, putting America and its allies first. When Iran acted out, he pushed back—fast and tough. Sure, oil prices went up for a day or two. But that’s what it takes to show strength. The world only respects power, not hand-wringing and apologies.

Of course, the anti-Trump crowd can’t accept this. They’d rather let a terrorist regime call the shots and hope world peace comes from nice speeches. They invent every excuse in the book—”markets are panicked!” or “Americans can’t afford this!”—never mind the long-term price of weakness. Newsflash: freedom isn’t free, and safety comes first.

America needs leaders who make bold choices, not nervous cowards trembling at every oil spike. It’s time the left admits the truth: temporary pain at the pump beats permanent danger from radical dictators. Maybe it’s time they learned which price is really too high.
