Washington elites are back to their old games, playing politics with America’s future. Senate Majority Leader John Thune thinks President Trump should back down, hoping he will stop refusing to sign bills until the SAVE America Act gets passed. That’s the swamp for you—always more worried about their own deals than fixing this broken country.
Just look at their priorities. The SAVE America Act is common sense. It’s the real shot we have to put America first, bring back jobs, and secure our borders. But the Senate can’t be bothered. Instead, rulers in fancy suits act offended. They drag their feet, terrified that Trump’s strong stance might actually get results. The American people want change, but these so-called “leaders” are too cozy with business as usual.
And don’t forget the old filibuster trick. Liberals and their globalist buddies in the Senate love hiding behind procedural stunts. They block good bills, pretend it’s all just the “rules.” Every time Trump gets tough, establishment Republicans start sweating. They’d rather keep their Senate friendship bracelets than defend American workers.
Where’s the courage? Senators would rather babysit their committee spots than roll up their sleeves and do what’s right for Main Street. If Trump is willing to hold the line until SAVE America gets through, why won’t they join him? What are they so afraid of, besides upsetting their D.C. cocktail party pals or hurting their next book deal?
This is how America loses—when politicians care more about “process” than progress. The left screams, the right dithers, and families scrape by while the real action happens behind closed doors. If we let these elites keep calling the shots, who do you think will save America then?
