America used to be the place where big ideas got noticed, and the world came calling. Now, thanks to out-of-control liberal bureaucracy and endless red tape, even the jokers in the science world can’t catch a break. The so-called “Ig Nobels”—a goofy awards show that mocks phony achievement in science—just announced they’re packing up and heading to Europe. Why? Because they’re worried people can’t get U.S. travel visas anymore.
Let that sink in. We’re not talking about Nobel Prizes or real trailblazers. This is a fake award, meant for jokes and satire. Yet somehow, even they can’t guarantee their international crowd can set foot on American soil. Liberals love to yap about “inclusion” and “global cooperation,” but their own policies have turned our nation into a fortress of paperwork and headaches.
The sad truth is that these fancy globalists don’t actually care about America. The second things get tough, they run abroad. Shuffling the event off to Europe lets them duck the mess they helped create in the first place. Meanwhile, U.S. cities lose business, hotels stay empty, and the rest of the world laughs while we drown in our own red tape.
Isn’t this what the left always wanted? More international “collaboration” and open borders—just not for Americans, apparently. Now even a science parody show is too scared to come here. This is what happens when you let Washington’s paper-pushing elites take over, instead of boosting American interests.
So here we are: another pathetic example of America’s light being dimmed by liberal incompetence and anti-American rules. If even the Ig Nobels won’t bother with the hassle, what does that say about our so-called leadership? Maybe the real joke is on us.
