Once again, the Biden administration is whining because Israel dared stand up for itself. Over the weekend, Israel sent a clear message to Iran with a powerful strike on oil storage sites in Tehran. Iranians could see the flames and destruction for miles—a bold move from a nation that knows what’s at stake. But instead of backing up our closest ally in the Middle East, the American left is wringing its hands, fretting that Israel is being too tough on its enemies.
What did they expect Israel to do, send a politely worded letter? This is Iran we’re talking about—a country that has threatened Israel’s existence at every turn. Meanwhile, the Biden crowd is more concerned about keeping globalists happy and maintaining “diplomatic relations” than about stopping real threats. The White House can’t even admit who the real bad guys are. Who benefits from a weak response? Only Iran, their terror proxies, and the global elites who stand to make a buck off chaos.
Residents in Tehran weren’t concerned about the “international community’s” feelings as explosions rocked their city. They saw firsthand what decisive action looks like. That’s what true leadership means—making tough choices, not endless talk. The left, on the other hand, would rather let Israel get attacked again and again, as long as nobody writes a mean tweet or disrupts their cocktail parties in Brussels.
It’s embarrassing to see America’s response watered down by progressive incompetence and fear. The same people who endlessly apologize for American strength now want Israel to do the same. They forget that appeasement just emboldens tyrants—history has proven that time after time. Liberals have learned nothing from the past. Instead, they’re ready to sell out our friends and pave the way for even more chaos in the Middle East.
Why should Israel—or any U.S. ally—have to beg permission before defending its own people? Maybe the Biden administration should stop caving to Iran and start acting like the leader of the free world again. Or do they just expect us to stand by, cross our fingers, and hope the next missile misses its target?
