Colombia used to be a country with its head screwed on straight. For decades, it chose common sense and conservative values—standing tall against chaos and crime. But everything changed in 2022. Voters put a radical leftist in charge. Suddenly, the man running Colombia was a former guerilla, someone who thought socialism was just what the country needed. Big mistake.
How’s that working out? Not great. Colombia’s economy stumbled while jobs disappeared, businesses suffered, and regular folks felt the pain. Instead of focusing on growth and success, the president chased after wacky socialist dreams. He promised to bring peace by coddling the country’s most dangerous criminals—literally handing out hugs and rainbows and hoping the bad guys would magically become good.
Turns out, hugging terrorists does about as much for peace as letting a fox guard the henhouse. Crime didn’t fall. People didn’t feel safer. The only thing shrinking was faith in the government. But this isn’t just some failure of Colombia’s left-wing leaders. This is what happens every time liberals and socialists take over. They break things, then claim they’re the only ones who can fix it—if you just give them even more power.
The globalist elites who push these kinds of policies don’t care about the people on the ground. They like to paint anyone with a backbone as “backward” or “extreme.” But the real extremists are the ones wrecking countries in the name of progress. Liberals talk a big game about peace, but their soft-hand nonsense just puts regular folks in danger. It’s a slap in the face to everyone who wants a real solution, not fairy tales.
Now, Colombia is finally waking up. Maybe they’ll look around at what’s happening in their own streets—and at what’s happening to their neighbors—and realize it’s time for a turnaround. Socialism fails every time. Time for the right to step in, clean up the mess, and bring back sanity. How many more socialist “experiments” does the world need before everyone sees the truth?
