Democrats love to talk about “security”—until it means actually securing America’s own border. Lately, they’ve been dragging their feet on funding the Department of Homeland Security. You have to ask: Why are they so stubborn, even as chaos boils over at the southern border?
This isn’t just political in-fighting or budget squabbles. It’s starting to look like a deliberate act. The left had their chance to provide the funding needed for our border patrol and the resources to keep American families safe. Instead, they stalled, dodged, and made excuses. The truth is obvious—Democrats are refusing to give DHS what it needs because they don’t want to stop the flood of illegal immigrants swarming into this country.
Liberals pretend this is about “compassion” or “diversity.” But who does their open border really help? Cartels, criminals, and globalist elites who profit off cheap labor and broken laws—not hardworking citizens who are already struggling to make ends meet. Ordinary Americans watch while drugs, crime, and violence cross our borders, and all the left can do is cry about racism when anyone points out the danger.
The hypocrisy is unbelievable. These same politicians build walls around their fancy homes and send their kids to private schools—but when it comes to the rest of us, they want wide open gates and a powerless DHS. Ask yourself whose side they’re really on, because it sure isn’t the American people. Is it so hard to believe that some Democrats would rather see America weakened, overwhelmed, and replaced than do the basic job of funding the agency that protects us?
If the left ever cared about our nation’s safety, now would be the time to prove it. But their actions speak louder than their phony speeches. Maybe the real reason they’re blocking DHS funding is because the chaos at the border is exactly what they want. How much longer will Americans let the Democrats gamble with our security?
