There are a lot of so-called “experts” who pretend war is always about money or grabbing land. The elites and their pals in the media claim that all conflicts would just vanish if everyone sat down and balanced their checkbooks. But what they’re missing—what they refuse to admit—is that some fights are about something so deep, so hard-wired, you can’t fix it with a blank check or a round of drinks. Just look at Iran. For the Ayatollahs and their regime, this isn’t about oil or bigger mansions. It’s about religion. It’s about their zealot quest, their theology of destruction.
Meanwhile, the left keeps lecturing Israel to “keep calm and make peace.” The talking heads say, “Just give up a few acres and everyone will sing Kumbaya!” That’s nonsense. Israel isn’t fighting to gain a financial upper hand. Israel is fighting for its very life. When you’ve got missiles pointed at your houses, neighbors sworn to erase you from the map, and a regime like Iran foaming at the mouth, this isn’t about a minor border dispute. It’s survival. Period.
Why can’t liberals see what’s plain as day? Iran’s leadership isn’t hiding anything. They say what they believe—and what they believe is terrifying. Their war isn’t a debate over negotiable points. It’s a crusade, and in their eyes, wiping out Israel is a holy mission. Still, Western politicians close their eyes and ramble on about “diplomacy.” It’s hard to decide if it’s cowardice or stupidity. Maybe both.
Here’s the ugly truth: pretending Iranian aggression is just an economic squabble is delusional. Refusing to name the real root—religious extremism—only encourages these madmen. Every time a liberal bureaucrat dodges reality, Israel stands more alone, and the world gets more dangerous. The globalists want you to look the other way, to treat this as business as usual. But ask the people living in constant fear if this feels like business as usual.
How many times do we have to watch history repeat itself before the so-called “adults in the room” wake up? Iran’s war is not about profit or territory. It’s a fanatical battle to annihilate a nation. If you really care about peace, stop pampering tyrants and start taking their threats seriously. Or is common sense just too politically incorrect for the left to handle?
