John Thune Sides With DC Elites Over American Patriots—Is He Betraying the SAVE America Act?

Senator John Thune just decided to shoot himself in the foot. Instead of standing with American voters demanding action on the SAVE America Act, Thune shrugged off the pressure and tried to blame “paid influencers” for the outcry. Apparently, when regular, hard-working Americans demand accountability, the Washington elite write it off as some kind of propaganda campaign.

Let’s get real. Millions of Americans are tired of watching our elected officials play games instead of defending our country. The SAVE America Act is supposed to do exactly what its name says: save America—by shoring up our borders and cleaning up the mess left behind by the radical left. But when asked to lead that fight, Thune acted more like a Democrat than a conservative. He didn’t rally his party. Instead, he whined about social media “ecosystems.” This is classic D.C. swamp talk—a bunch of empty words that mean nothing while the country falls apart.

Maybe Thune should leave the influencer chatter to TikTok teens and start listening to the people who voted him into office. The fact is, Americans want to secure our elections and our borders. They’re furious with the open-borders, America-last policies pushed by liberals and their globalist buddies. When conservatives finally push back, we get called conspiracy theorists or accused of being “paid off.” It’s pathetic.

The Republican base is losing patience with these weak-kneed politicians who treat every crisis like a campaign PR moment. While the left keeps pushing anti-American nonsense, our so-called leaders dance around tough votes, scared of offending CNN or upsetting their cocktail party friends. Thune isn’t just disappointing the MAGA movement—he’s giving the Biden regime and its leftist cronies everything they want.

Americans are desperate for leaders who actually fight for them, not politicians looking for their next MSNBC soundbite. If John Thune can’t find the courage to back common-sense, America-first policies, maybe it’s time for South Dakota to find someone who will. The country is burning, and all these establishment Republicans can do is talk about “paid influencers”? Maybe it’s time we remind them who actually pays their salary.
