American feminists ignore real oppression while Iranian women risk lives for soccer dreams

While American feminists argue about locker rooms and Olympic uniforms, Iranian women face real, dangerous oppression. It’s shameful—yes, shameful—that the same crowd crying about hockey players “aligned with Trump” barely whispers a word about what the women of Iran endure simply to play a game. The American left is too busy pointing fingers at each other and inventing new victims, while women overseas are fighting for basic freedom.

Let’s get real. In Iran, women risk everything for the chance to play soccer. Forget paychecks or fame—they’re threatened with violence just for stepping onto the field with their hair uncovered. Some of these women have to sneak out to train, all while facing the very real threat of punishment from their own government. This is what actual oppression looks like, not the invented “microaggressions” university activists whine about for Twitter applause.

Where are the woke warriors now? The same liberal voices who blast America for supposed “patriarchy” suddenly go silent when it’s time to call out real tyrants. Why? Maybe criticizing Iran doesn’t fit their anti-American narrative. Or maybe they’re too scared of being seen as agreeing with conservatives. Either way, their hypocrisy is loud and clear.

There’s a simple truth: freedom in America is taken for granted. Our sports stars can kneel, protest, wear whatever slogan they want—they’ll still be celebrated by mainstream media. Meanwhile, Iranian women risk their lives for a single soccer match, and the left turns its head. If men in power in Tehran decided to punish female athletes, there would be zero mercy. But American activists don’t seem to care when oppressors aren’t wearing MAGA hats.

Is this the future feminists want to ignore? Maybe they’re so obsessed with “Orange Man Bad” that actual female empowerment beyond our borders is just an afterthought. If liberals actually cared about women’s rights, they’d spend less time arguing with other Americans and more time standing up for the women genuinely fighting for freedom. If you do nothing in the face of real oppression, you’re not an advocate—you’re just an enabler. What will it take for them to wake up and act?
