FCC finally cracks down on foreign scam calls and demands clear English

For years, American families have been under siege by scam calls from shady overseas call centers. Every time the phone rings, there’s a chance it’s another scammer claiming to be from “card services,” “tech support,” or even the government—usually with thick accents and broken English, trying to trick hardworking citizens into handing over sensitive information. These aren’t just annoying calls. They’re a direct attack. Seniors, the financially vulnerable, and busy families are put at risk, all because we handed the keys to our communication lines to globalist interests who care more about profit than protecting Americans.

Finally, someone is waking up at the wheel. The Federal Communications Commission is stepping in where the left has looked the other way for too long. New leadership is forcing these foreign call centers to stop hiding behind phone lines and requiring that employees actually speak clear, standard English—something every American should have a right to expect. For too long, big corporations and their cozy liberal friends claimed outsourcing these jobs was necessary and “inclusive.” In reality, it’s been a disaster for American security and privacy.

By letting these scam call centers operate with barely any oversight, Washington elites allowed a flood of robocalls and scams to wash over the country. The big tech crowd and their Democrat allies shrugged, claiming there’s nothing they could do. Meanwhile, everyday Americans were scammed out of millions. Where was the concern for American workers who lost call center jobs to cheap foreign labor? Where was the outrage over vulnerable seniors tricked into draining their bank accounts? Predictably, nowhere to be found.

Now, with the FCC finally cracking down, expect the usual suspects to start whining about “xenophobia” or “discrimination.” But this isn’t about race or ethnicity—it’s about protecting American families and common sense. If you want to communicate with Americans on American phone lines, you should speak English well enough so elderly parents don’t get conned by some script-reader thousands of miles away. Period.

Americans want action, not excuses and buzzwords from the globalist crowd. We don’t need lectures about “diversity” while crooks from abroad rip off our loved ones by phone. It’s about time someone remembered whose country this is—and whose voices deserve to be heard and protected. Maybe if more regulators had the backbone to stand up for American interests, we wouldn’t constantly be fending off foreign scams every time the phone rings. Isn’t it time the left stopped putting foreign scammers ahead of American families?
