Once again, America learns the true price of weakness on the world stage. For over fifteen long years, Iran held Robert Levinson, a retired FBI agent, as its hostage. No American has been kept in enemy hands longer. He vanished on Iranian soil back in 2007, and now officials finally admit he died in captivity. Where was the outrage? Where was the action? Washington sat idle, while a fellow citizen suffered in a hostile land.
The cowardice from our so-called leaders is inexcusable. Year after year, Iran played games while American diplomats danced to the tune of “peace talks” and useless deals. Liberals babbled about dialogue and “mutual respect,” but Tehran showed nothing but contempt. They starved and silenced one of our own, right under our noses. Yet the only thing the Obama-Biden era managed was to ship pallets of cash to these thugs—and what did America get? Nothing but funerals and grief.
Globalists always toss around big words about diplomacy, but they never hold our enemies accountable. They talk a tough game, but when real lives are on the line, they beg for deals instead of standing up for our fellow citizens. The Left loves to talk about foreign policy “successes,” but look at the facts. A man served his country, and not a single liberal “strategy” could bring him home.
No doubt, the families of American hostages deserve far better than the bureaucratic shrugs and tall tales coming out of Washington. The Iranian regime laughs while Democrats line up to pretend it’s business as usual. The media barely covers this, proving yet again their agenda isn’t about seeking truth, but protecting the system. America deserves leaders who don’t roll over for terrorists. It’s time to elect people who put American lives above globalist wishes.
How many more Americans have to die to prove negotiation doesn’t work with regimes that despise us? This is what liberal “leadership” looks like—empty promises, abandoned citizens, and one more flag-draped casket. When will America finally say enough is enough?
