Artificial intelligence is supposed to be the future. Instead, it’s turning into a nightmare for everyday Americans, especially for families who love their land and worked hard to keep it. All across the country, power-hungry Big Tech and their government pals seem eager to bulldoze personal freedom—literally. Why? Because their shiny new “AI data centers” need mountains of electricity, and they don’t care who gets run over in the process.
Corporations and utility companies are rushing to build giant new server farms. These monsters eat up as much power as whole cities. That means new high-voltage power lines have to be strung for miles, cutting straight through family farms, forests, and neighborhoods. The rich tech giants can’t have their supercomputers flicker off for even a second, and suddenly that means ordinary people are slapped with eviction notices and threats.
Property owners are now caught between greedy corporations and overreaching government. State lawmakers, egged on by globalist interests, are lining up to fast-track these projects in the name of “progress.” But ask the average farmer or local business owner how it feels when an out-of-state company wants to rip up their fields for billionaire tech bros. They’ll tell you—nobody asked them, nobody cares what it costs them, and certainly nobody’s looking out for their rights.
All this is happening under the tired excuse of “preventing blackouts.” Never mind that power companies admit a single data center eats up the same electricity as 100,000 homes! Regular Americans are told these projects are for the public good. What good, exactly, is there for the family watching bulldozers roll past their porch, or for the homeowner worried their electric bill will skyrocket to pay for new AI toys for Silicon Valley?
Across states like Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia, families now live in fear that they’ll lose land that’s been in the family for generations—just so Mark Zuckerberg or some faceless tech board can rake in more profits. Some have been offered hush money by mega-corporations, but true patriots are refusing to be bought out. Instead, they’re fighting back with signs, town meetings, and lawsuits. Local officials, when they have a backbone, are speaking out, demanding the state stop playing lapdog to Big Tech.
The very idea of using eminent domain—government force—to take private land for private profit would have been unthinkable in a sane America. Now, thanks to the unholy alliance between arrogant liberals, spineless bureaucrats, and their Big Tech donors, it’s becoming the new normal. Ask yourself: When did “the greater good” start meaning the best deal for Amazon and Google, instead of the rights of local citizens?
Maybe liberals don’t care if Grandma loses her farmhouse so some server can crunch AI code for global elites. But real Americans should. Is this what progress looks like—destroying property rights so that our way of life can be sold off to the highest bidder?
