While real conservatives stand up for commonsense voter ID requirements, Murkowski plants herself firmly in the way of the SAVE Act. What’s so radical about making sure that only American citizens get to choose America’s future? Apparently, to Murkowski and her globalist-minded pals, quite a lot.
The SAVE Act is simple. It protects our elections with basic rules that should have been in place for decades. If you want to vote in American elections, you need to prove you’re actually allowed to. That’s not “controversial” or “divisive”—that’s common sense. But Murkowski, one of the Senate’s favorite RINOs, refuses to back this critical bill. Instead, she doubles down on her opposition and clings to the broken status quo.
While millions of Americans worry about fraud, non-citizen voting, and chaos at the ballot box, Murkowski’s worried about pleasing Washington elites. The same out-of-touch D.C. crowd that welcomes open borders is thrilled to have Republicans like her blocking real election security. Murkowski’s stubbornness plays right into the hands of leftists and globalists who want to water down our votes and erase America’s sovereignty.
Alaska deserves better. America deserves better. Murkowski claims to be a Republican, but when it matters, she sides with liberals and betrays her own base. It’s no wonder ordinary Americans lose faith when even supposed conservatives turn their backs on secure elections.
Senators like Murkowski might talk about bipartisanship and “protecting democracy,” but when push comes to shove, they won’t lift a finger to stop non-citizens from voting. If that’s what counts for leadership these days, no wonder our country is heading in the wrong direction. How long will Americans accept politicians who refuse to defend even the most basic ideas of citizenship?
