Norway just made headlines for all the wrong reasons. Over the weekend, three brothers were arrested after an explosion rocked the US embassy in Oslo. Thankfully, nobody was killed or hurt—this time. But make no mistake: this is a warning shot to America and every country that still values law and order.
The left might want you to shrug this off. After all, they’ll say it was only “minor damage.” They want you to believe embassies are just buildings and attacks are just accidents. That’s the same dangerous thinking that got us into trouble in Benghazi. You can bet if it were a climate change protest or a pride parade under threat, the liberal media would be howling for blood, demanding justice and hand-wringing nonstop.
Instead, there’s silence. The usual suspects who scream about “safe spaces” suddenly aren’t interested when it’s the American flag under attack. Where’s the outrage from our own State Department? Where’s the lecture from the UN? Nowhere. Because global elites are more interested in catering to every woke cause than protecting American interests overseas.
It’s also no coincidence this happened in soft-on-crime Scandinavia. Once-proud Norway bends backwards for open borders, and now finds itself with embassies under siege. Maybe if their leaders spent less time attending climate conferences and more time cracking down on crime, this would never have happened. But the globalist experiment keeps failing, and real people pay the price.
If America doesn’t wise up, our citizens abroad will keep getting pushed around. How many close calls will it take before the left stops preaching tolerance for those who wish us harm? Anyone who still thinks globalism keeps us safe might want to look at what just went down in Oslo—and ask themselves who’s really to blame.
