It’s official — the liberal media will stop at nothing to twist the truth. This week, CNN’s Abby Phillip actually tried to tell America that a bomb plot linked to ISIS — aimed at protesters in New York City — somehow wasn’t really about the protesters at all. She spun it into an attack on one politician, Zohran Mamdani. Seriously? How much more desperate can the left get?
This is the kind of narrative gymnastics that makes regular Americans shake their heads in disbelief. A terror plot targets protesters, but the liberal elite rush to find a way to make it about one of their own. Why? Because if it’s about Mamdani and not the protesters, they can peddle their tired victim narrative, preserve their pet causes, and distract everyone from their own soft-on-crime, open-borders disaster.
This isn’t just about one TV segment. This is what the left does best. They downplay the very real threats facing Americans every day, while playing identity politics and pretending to care about “justice.” Meanwhile, radical groups plot violence right here at home. But to the woke media, pointing fingers at ISIS isn’t nearly as important as scoring political points.
Americans aren’t stupid. They see the hypocrisy. Leftists ignore terror when it doesn’t fit their story, but clutch their pearls when one of their own might be involved. The globalist crowd is more worried about their image than about real safety. It’s no wonder their ratings are in the tank and trust in the media is hitting new lows.
The truth is simple: There was a terror plot targeting American citizens. But the woke media can’t even bring themselves to call it what it is. If you needed more proof that mainstream news is rotten to the core, just watch them twist logic on live TV. How much longer will Americans put up with these anti-American, out-of-touch elites re-writing reality?
