CNN sure knows how to embarrass itself, but this week it reached new heights. One of their anchors, Abby Phillip, was caught spreading absolute nonsense about the ISIS-inspired bombing attempt in New York City. She tried to claim that New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani was the intended target—when anyone paying attention knows that the real targets were anti-Islamic protesters. Turns out, the bombers were two young Muslim men, radicalized and hell-bent on terror, not freedom fighters. But CNN, as always, scrambled to cover their tracks instead of telling the truth.
Phillip eventually had to apologize—but not because she suddenly found her integrity. No, she barely mentioned the jihadist motives and tip-toed around naming the culprits at all. She apologized on X, then tried to smooth things over on-air, but left out crucial details. Viewers were left without basic facts about who these terrorists were or what inspired them to commit violence in the first place. This is exactly how the left operates: ignore uncomfortable facts, focus on narratives, and never let reality get in the way of their agenda.
Let’s not forget, she wasn’t alone. Her guest, Ana Navarro, also repeated the false claim, echoing the same tired script. Did anyone at CNN even bother to ask the most basic question—who actually planted the bomb, and why? Of course not. The network wants us to believe that white supremacists are always to blame, and it simply can’t compute when extremists chanting “Allahu Akbar” are in the driver’s seat. This selective blindness is not just sloppy journalism. It’s a willful refusal to tell the truth about the threats facing America.
And this isn’t even the only example. The country just saw another jihad-inspired attack, this time in Austin, Texas, where Ndiaga Diagne—a so-called “naturalized citizen” from Senegal—shot up a bar, wearing a sweatshirt pledging loyalty to Allah, and sporting an Iranian flag t-shirt underneath. But again, don’t expect CNN or any mainstream outlet to connect the dots. They want anyone daring to protest radical Islam—like Jake Lang, who organized the recent protest in New York—to be painted as “white supremacists.” It fits their narrative, and the truth be damned.
The American people aren’t stupid. They can see the pattern: the media ignores Islamic terror, then blames the right, even as real threats explode in their faces. Why should anyone trust a word these legacy outlets say anymore? Maybe it’s time for them to admit what everyone else already knows: The enemies of freedom don’t always wear red hats—they wear cloaks of political correctness and globalist doublespeak.
