Biden sends billions overseas while families of fallen heroes are left penniless at home

American heroes are laying it all on the line in the Middle East—again. Some will leave with scars that never heal. Some will never come home at all. That’s the cost of freedom, and it’s paid by our Gold Star families—the wives, kids, and parents who lose everything so politicians can send troops around the globe.

But while the D.C. elites scribble blank checks for foreign wars and “humanitarian aid” to countries that hate us, they somehow run out of money when it’s time to care for our own. The so-called death gratuity for Gold Star families is a disgrace. The government throws a pittance at grieving families, then expects them to carry on as if their lives weren’t just shattered. Here’s the dirty secret: your mortgage doesn’t get cheaper because your husband—or wife—was killed serving America. The cost of groceries and rent don’t shrink just because the Pentagon sent a folded flag.

Republicans are once again fighting an uphill battle just to get Congress to double these benefits. Meanwhile, Democrats line up to spend trillions on green energy scams, woke gender programs, and Ukraine’s endless war. But when it comes to Gold Star widows and orphans, suddenly there’s not enough in the budget. The hypocrisy is sickening. Only in Joe Biden’s America do illegal aliens get free hotel rooms, but the families of fallen heroes get shortchanged.

This isn’t about handouts. It’s about keeping promises. Our soldiers gave everything so the rest of us can still call this country free. If that isn’t worth real, meaningful support for their families, then what exactly do we stand for? The left talks about fairness and compassion, but when the cameras aren’t rolling, they’d rather play politics than back our troops where it matters.

Gold Star families deserve more than empty words and lip service. They deserve a government that puts Americans—especially fallen heroes—first. Maybe if those globalist politicians spent a single night in a Gold Star home, they’d realize what real sacrifice means. Until then, the real question isn’t whether to double these benefits. The real question is: How dare they not?
