Yes, you read that right. With a rap sheet that could make Chicago’s old mobsters blush, she’s now trying to sell herself as some kind of conservative savior to the folks in Fulton County.
Here’s what Georgia voters need to know before they get snookered. This so-called “super mayor” left her old city swimming in debt, spending hundreds of thousands in taxpayer money on personal luxuries—shopping sprees, parties, lavish trips—without a care in the world for the people footing the bill. The city’s finances collapsed so badly under her watch, they had to call in another failed leftist, Lori Lightfoot, just to count what was left in the piggy bank. Spoiler alert: It was a disaster.
It gets worse. Not only did Henyard reportedly run wild with the city credit card, racking up nearly a million bucks with almost no receipts, but she allegedly used local police as her own goon squad to punish anyone who didn’t pay tribute to her little empire. Some business owners had their lives wrecked when they wouldn’t cough up cash for her self-serving programs. That’s the kind of Chicago-style muscle Georgia can look forward to if they let this grifter in the door.
The FBI has had to get involved, chasing down subpoenas for her shady financial dealings and her hand-picked cronies. There are even claims she punished a city worker who tried to stand up after being victimized by one of Henyard’s pals. Just when you think it couldn’t get more disgraceful, her own boyfriend got into a boardroom brawl that would embarrass even a professional wrestling league.
So why does Henyard think she can just waltz into Georgia, suddenly claim the conservative mantle, and fool Republican voters? Because the left is convinced conservatives are too dumb to notice their dirty laundry. They treat Americans like we’re forgetful sheep, ready to fall for any crook willing to swap a “D” for an “R.” Well, Georgia deserves better than recycled Democrat disaster.
