Once again, Americans are forced to watch a tragic scene unfold on a so-called “gun-free” college campus in Virginia. A crazed gunman stormed the school, injuring two innocent people before being killed. These campus “security zones” are supposed to keep everyone safe, right? Instead, they make students and faculty sitting ducks for criminals who couldn’t care less about the rules.
Liberals love their empty slogans about gun control, but here’s the result—they strip away the rights of law-abiding adults to protect themselves, throwing open the door to violence. While the ivory tower elites pat themselves on the back for “keeping guns off campus,” the only people they disarm are the good guys. The bad guys ignore the signs, the laws, and the policies. It’s the same tired script every time—and people keep getting hurt.
It’s not rocket science. These anti-gun policies have been proven useless over and over again, but the leftist powers-that-be refuse to face reality. They’d rather virtue-signal and blame the Second Amendment than admit that criminals don’t check their firearms at the campus gate. Meanwhile, students and teachers are left to pray that someone armed will show up in time—except, of course, no one’s allowed to be armed.
If globalist politicians and woke college administrators actually cared about safety, they’d empower Americans to defend themselves. But no, their only solution is more rules, more restrictions, and more lectures about “gun violence.” How many more times do innocent people need to pay the price for their selfish, feel-good policies?
Maybe it’s time to stop listening to gun-grabbing bureaucrats and start trusting law-abiding citizens to protect themselves. Because as long as criminals know that campuses are easy targets, tragedies like this will keep happening. When will America wake up and stop letting the anti-gun crowd run the show?
