Hollywood demands protection from foreign threats while ignoring your safety

The Hollywood elite are waking up to the dangers everyday Americans have dealt with for years. Now, the Oscars are beefing up security, not for some wild stalker or a lone wolf, but because federal agencies are ringing alarms about the threat of a possible Iranian drone attack. You read that right – America’s enemies overseas are making threats, and the first folks to get protected are the red carpet socialites.

Hollywood loves to preach open borders and soft-on-crime policies from their million-dollar mansions. They turn their noses up at the flyover states, laugh at law enforcement, then go running to federal agents the second a real threat enters their bubble. LAPD, the FBI, and the rest are working overtime to guard these celebrities, while the rest of Los Angeles suffers from run-of-the-mill crime, homelessness, and the fallout from disastrous left-wing policies.

And take a good look at what triggered this security frenzy: troubles with Iran. The same Hollywood crowd that can’t wait to blame America first, who shrug off Middle Eastern aggression, suddenly remembers the need for safety when they might be in the line of fire. It’s a stunning case of “security for me, but not for thee.” Maybe if these actors cared as much about our southern border as they care about their own red carpet, American families wouldn’t have to worry about cartel drones and foreign threats sneaking in.

Let’s not forget the hypocrisy at play. Every Oscar season, celebrities spout off about gun control and defunding the police, yet now they’re shielded by the very men and women they criticize. Funny how quickly the anti-cop rhetoric fades away when the possibility of a real attack hits close to home. There’s no talk of “open arms and open borders” when it’s their own necks on the line.

So while the glamorous crowd gets a fortress of protection, the average citizen is left wondering: where is their security? If Hollywood really believed their own “everyone is safe” fairy tales, would they need all this high-level protection? Americans deserve leaders who defend every citizen—not just the ones who make movies about saving the world, but actually practice little more than saving their own skins.
