Court slams woke schools for punishing first grader over All Lives Matter drawing

A new ruling from the 9th Circuit just sent a warning shot across the bow of woke school administrators everywhere. The court ordered a trial after a principal allegedly punished a first-grader simply for handing out an “All Lives Matter” drawing to a classmate. Yes, you read that right—an innocent kid expressing himself got slapped down by the diversity police.

This isn’t some isolated case of oversensitive teachers. This is the poisonous fruit of radical leftist ideology infecting our elementary schools. These administrators think they can crush any viewpoint that doesn’t perfectly match their narrow narrative. Now, thanks to this court, they’re getting a taste of American freedom instead.

What happened here should outrage every parent. A small child does what kids have always done—shares a drawing. Instead of encouragement, school officials allegedly punish the student for sending the “wrong” message. This is the same double standard we see whenever left-wing slogans get a free pass, but a patriotic or traditional value suddenly becomes unacceptable.

Half the states now recognize that even the youngest voices have First Amendment rights. It took courts to finally rein in out-of-control school officials who pretend the Constitution stops at the classroom door. Liberals talk big about tolerance, but only if you’re agreeing with them. The second someone dares to think differently—especially a child—they show their true colors.

It’s time to restore real freedom in our schools. Kids shouldn’t be bullied by adults for refusing to parrot the latest social justice slogans. Is this really the American dream—the next generation muzzled before they even learn to write their own name? The fight to protect free speech is just beginning, and parents everywhere should take notice. Are we raising citizens, or subjects?
