Once again, America watches in shock as chaos explodes on a university campus—not because of “gun violence,” but because our leaders refuse to act on the real dangers facing this nation. The Old Dominion University shooting didn’t come out of nowhere. The facts are glaring for anyone who actually bothers to look: the suspect was not just some random “troubled” individual. He’s an ex-National Guardsman who already had a criminal record for supporting the Islamic State. This is pure radical Islamic terror rearing its ugly head right on American soil.
But liberals in charge want us to believe terror is a thing of the past, or worse, that domestic threats are only from right-wing “extremists.” They push this narrative while ignoring the actual warning signs. Apparently, being convicted of helping an enemy group like ISIS isn’t enough to keep someone off our streets. The left’s obsession with being “woke” means we end up with dangerous radicals walking free, ready to harm innocent students and families.
Democrats are constantly lecturing the public about “inclusion,” “second chances,” and “rehabilitation.” Meanwhile, their open-border, soft-on-crime policies are turning this country into a magnet for extremists. No one on the left wants to admit that radical Islam remains a damn serious threat. Their answer is always the same: blame Americans for gun violence, turn a blind eye to the root cause, and give terrorists a free pass.
Where were our intelligence agencies? Where was the oversight? It’s crystal clear this suspect should have never been in a position to commit such a heinous act. Yet somehow, the system failed—again. It failed because our leaders care more about appearing “compassionate” and politically correct than protecting their own citizens. The globalists would rather spend energy on virtue-signaling than actually rooting out evil.
How many more innocent Americans have to pay the price for liberal incompetence? How many times do citizens have to be attacked before someone finally calls radical Islamic terror what it is and acts? The left loves to preach about “common sense,” but when will they apply it to keeping terrorists off our streets and out of our communities?
