She’s threatening NYU Langone hospital, demanding that doctors start up so-called “gender-affirming care” for kids by March 11. That’s right—she wants hospitals to start cutting up confused children all over again, and she’s using the weight of her office to browbeat anyone in her way.
It’s pure ideological theater. This isn’t about helping children; it’s about forcing radical gender politics into every corner of American life. Parents are losing control over their own kids. Doctors are being ordered not to “heal” but to harm, all to win points with progressive activists and globalist organizations that want to erase basic truths about biology. The left is selling a fantasy, and they expect everyone to play along—or else.
Letitia James isn’t interested in facts or safety. She’s more concerned with being a hero for the woke crowd. Forget about the permanent dangers these so-called “treatments” inflict on children. Forget about the growing list of countries around the world that are slamming the brakes on this madness because kids are getting hurt. In New York, under James, reality takes a back seat to leftist virtue signaling.
Where is the compassion for children who can’t possibly understand the lifelong consequences of these procedures? Where’s the concern for parents who just want to protect their kids from making irreversible decisions? Liberals always pretend they’re fighting for the vulnerable, but what they really want is total control—over hospitals, over kids, over you.
People are sick and tired of being lectured by elites who don’t have to live with the fallout of their reckless social experiments. Letitia James and her fellow ideologues might want to ask themselves: If denying biological truth is their top priority, what does that say about every other policy they touch? How much longer will Americans let these activists gamble with our children’s futures?
