Hollywood elites love to shout “tolerance” and “inclusion”—unless, of course, a celebrity dares step foot on the wrong side of the political aisle. Just ask Katherine Heigl. The actress found herself instantly under attack just for having the nerve to attend an event at Mar-a-Lago. Apparently, in the eyes of the woke mob, some Americans are supposed to sit in the back of the cultural bus, especially if they aren’t following leftist marching orders.
The rules are simple in liberal-land: say anything even slightly right of center and you’re branded an outcast. Just showing up at Mar-a-Lago, a place the media has tried to turn radioactive, is enough to spark a meltdown on the left. Suddenly, Heigl is branded problematic, all her work tossed aside by keyboard warriors foaming at the mouth on Twitter. So much for free thought and open minds.
This is the tired, predictable playbook of the left. For years, conservatives have been told to keep quiet, stay out of sight, and let Hollywood dictate what is “acceptable.” They want entertainers to “shut up and perform”—unless, of course, those opinions happen to match their globalist, anti-American agenda. If you’re following that script, you get applause. If not, you get canceled.
It’s laughable how liberals preach about crushing stereotypes while pushing their own. They claim to support women who speak their minds—but only if those women toe the woke line. Heigl didn’t back down or apologize, and that drives the left absolutely insane. She dared think for herself and immediately became public enemy number one, simply for exercising her basic, God-given rights.
This is America, not North Korea. People are allowed to attend any event they want, mingle with whoever they want, and believe whatever they want. The left’s obsession with shutting down dissenting voices should terrify everyone who loves freedom. If showing up at Mar-a-Lago causes this big of a liberal hissy fit, what are they so afraid of—ideas they can’t control?
