Another day, another shocking reminder that the left’s refusal to address the dangers lurking in our own backyard is putting American lives at risk. News broke that the vehicle used to attack a Michigan synagogue was registered to a Dearborn resident traced back to Lebanon. This isn’t some far-off headline from another country—it happened right here, in a suburban town, at a place of worship that should be a safe haven.
Let’s not kid ourselves: This isn’t just about one dangerous act. This is about a growing pattern. The refusal of liberals to secure the border, vet who’s coming into our neighborhoods, and stand up for American citizens has created a breeding ground for these tragedies. The same “open borders” crowd loves to lecture the rest of us about “diversity” and “tolerance.” Meanwhile, innocent Americans are being targeted for who they are and what they believe in.
Look at Dearborn. The so-called “progressive” brain trust claims it’s a shining example of multicultural harmony. But how many warnings do we need before we wake up to reality? How many more attacks will it take before liberal politicians stop pandering to globalist interests and start putting the safety of American citizens first?
Instead of cracking down on radical ideologies and foreign threats, left-wing leaders spend their time attacking law-abiding gun owners and policing “hate speech” on social media. Meanwhile, real hate—dangerous, violent hate—can drive up to a house of worship and carry out an assault. Where’s the outrage from the usual talking heads? Nowhere to be found when the facts don’t fit their narrative.
Americans deserve better than failed leadership. They deserve real answers, not empty lectures about compassion for the world while their own communities are put in danger. How many more attacks will it take before the left wakes up? Or maybe, deep down, they’d rather turn a blind eye than admit the truth: their reckless policies have made us all less safe.
