America under siege as ISIS supporter freed early sparks deadly attacks while politicians look away

America is under attack. You don’t need to look too far to see it. Two apparent terrorist attacks in Michigan and Virginia in a single day—both involving men who should never have set foot on our streets. What’s even worse? One of these attackers, a man originally from Sierra Leone, had been let loose early from prison after being sentenced for helping ISIS. This is what happens when politicians care more about criminal “rights” than about American lives.

Who gave the green light to release a convicted ISIS supporter before his full sentence was up? The liberal establishment keeps pushing for “compassionate” release, cutting slack for violent criminals and dangerous radicals. The result: more innocent citizens put at risk. The lives of everyday Americans are always the first victims when elites play politics with our national security.

This is more than just bad policy—it’s willful blindness. Time and again, globalist-minded leaders prioritize the rights of criminals and foreign nationals over the safety of their own citizens. Remember, this attacker had already been found guilty of aiding our enemies. Yet some out-of-touch bureaucrat decided he deserved a second chance. Meanwhile, Americans just get a second helping of fear.

Thank goodness for the ROTC students who did what weak politicians refuse to do—restore a little order by standing up to this threat. Everyday patriots stepped in when the system failed, showing the kind of courage and resolve our so-called leaders have forgotten. That’s the American spirit liberals seem desperate to snuff out.

How many more tragedies do we have to witness before politicians stop making excuses and start making America safe again? Maybe it’s time to care less about criminals’ feelings and more about protecting the country. Is it really so extreme to say enough is enough?
