What does it take for Democrats to defend American lives? Apparently, the answer is four terrorist attacks and American blood spilled on our soil. For weeks, the political left refused to fund the Department of Homeland Security—as if shutting down TSA lines and letting chaos unfold at our airports was just another harmless bargaining chip in their open-borders crusade.
These so-called “leaders” bent over backwards for illegal immigrants and radical activists, ignoring the safety of citizens and soldiers. Their message was clear: if you’re an American who wants your family protected, tough luck. But if you’re here illegally, or even a convicted terrorist, well, the door’s open and the red carpet is rolled out.
Let’s look at what happened while Democrats played games. A naturalized “citizen” with a history of supporting ISIS was somehow allowed to walk free and commit mass murder at a Virginia university, targeting ROTC cadets and killing a decorated veteran. Another terrorist—also naturalized—plowed into a Michigan synagogue, looking to murder Jews and cause destruction. Days before, a third so-called “citizen” from Senegal shot up a Texas bar packed with innocent people. And in New York, a pair of extremists tried to bomb a crowd, hoping to outdo the Boston Marathon killers.
What do these attackers have in common? They were all naturalized. They all exploited the broken system Democrats refuse to fix. And yet, as bodies hit the ground and Americans mourned, Democrats like Michigan’s own Elissa Slotkin kept voting to keep DHS shuttered—hoping for some leverage to force their radical dreams on America. Only now, backed into a corner and exposed, are they finally pretending to care about homeland security. The hypocrisy is off the charts. Democrats didn’t bat an eye at rising violence, but as the public’s anger boiled over, they panicked and started scrambling to save face.
Remember, these politicians made a choice: side with globalists, leftists, and criminals, or protect American citizens. They chose the radicals, every single time, until deadly consequences made their cowardice national news. If this is how Democrats act when out of power, what would they do with the White House in their grip? Americans shouldn’t wait to find out. Are we willing to let their fanaticism keep costing us lives?
