Justice failed, and now an American hero is dead. When the Trump Justice Department demanded a 20-year prison sentence for Mohamed Bailor Jalloh—a convicted ISIS supporter—they meant business. They knew his kind is a threat, the kind that should never taste freedom again. But a judge, in all their “compassion,” handed down just 11 years. The rest of us? We’re left to deal with the deadly consequences.
Jalloh wasn’t just any criminal. He was a radical, corrupted by toxic ideas and ready to carry out violence against our country. The experts pleaded: lock him up for good. Instead, the system chose leniency, the type Democrats and globalists always seem to love. Eleven years? That’s barely a slap on the wrist for a ticking time bomb in our own backyard.
And what happened? Predictably, once freed, Jalloh was once again free to harm Americans. A decorated Army veteran—a genuine patriot who served this country—lost his life at the hands of a man who should have been rotting in a cell. This is what liberal mercy looks like: putting criminal rights above American lives. The judge, cheered on by the left-wing establishment, preferred to gamble with the public’s safety instead of showing strength.
Why is it that when Trump’s team stands firm on law and order, the activist judges so often look the other way? The elites in their black robes act like they know better—even when innocent people pay the ultimate price. Is it any wonder that crime is running wild and people have to watch their backs in their own neighborhoods?
If this isn’t a wake-up call, what is? Americans deserve leaders who will always put their safety first—not soft-hearted judges or globalist sympathizers. Time to stop playing nice with terrorists and criminals. How many more patriots have to die before the left finally learns that weakness has consequences?
