Once again, Democrats are asleep at the wheel while Americans pay the price. A convicted ISIS supporter was allowed to roam free thanks to the Biden administration’s “let them loose” approach—and what happened? Chaos at Old Dominion University, three innocent victims shot, and a true American hero, Lt. Col. Brandon Shah, murdered in cold blood. This never should have happened. But it did, and it’s because the Left is more interested in virtue signaling and empty hashtags than actually keeping dangerous radicals off our streets.
The killer, Mohamed Jalloh, wasn’t just some random criminal. He’d already shown a clear allegiance to terror and had no business walking free. Yet here we are. Biden lets him out, the so-called “justice” system looks the other way, and families are left to pick up the pieces. It took actual patriots—an ROTC cadet and a handful of brave students—to put a permanent stop to Jalloh’s rampage. The citizens did what the government wouldn’t: ended the threat before more lives were destroyed.
Meanwhile, liberal elites are tripping over themselves to downplay the obvious. With the Department of Homeland Security paralyzed—thanks to Democrat games over ICE funding—America is wide open for attacks. Even as terrorist violence spikes, Left-wing politicians like Elissa Slotkin suddenly “realize” DHS might be kind of important. Give us a break. Maybe the anti-border, pro-sanctuary state crowd should have thought about national security before they started blocking the very agencies built to protect us.
Let’s not forget the so-called leadership in Virginia. Governor Abigail Spanberger just cut off her state’s cooperation with federal law enforcement. In the middle of a terror wave, she’d rather play political games than support the people working to keep us safe. And then comes her sanitized, tip-toeing social media statement about the tragedy. No mention of terrorism, no mention of the real threat—just more empty words. It’s almost like she doesn’t want Virginians to know what really happened. Sorry, Governor, but the facts are plain as day. Americans see through the smokescreen.
Democrats bend over backward to protect criminals, terrorists, and illegal immigrants—then act shocked when their policies get people killed. Patriots pay with their lives while privileged liberals offer “thoughts and prayers” and move on. This is the America the Left has given us: weak, exposed, and ashamed to say the truth out loud. Maybe next time, we’ll have leaders who actually care more about our safety than about looking “woke” for their donors. Or is that too much to ask?
