It looks like the so-called “justice” system is at it again—pulling the rug right out from under the American people, all to protect the powerful and connected. This time, the Department of Justice was finally shining a light on the out-of-control spending at the Federal Reserve. President Trump’s team had started looking into exactly why Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell’s office needed such expensive renovations. Apparently, regular Americans are supposed to tighten their belts, while D.C. insiders get gold-plated offices. The DOJ even went so far as to demand records about these suspicious improvements. Sounds pretty reasonable, right?
But not so fast. Just when the investigation was beginning to heat up, a liberal activist judge swooped in to grind the probe to a halt. No surprise there—the left protects its own, no matter the cost to taxpayers or the truth. They’re quick to launch witch hunts at conservatives, but when it comes to exposing waste and corruption among their beloved globalist elites, the entire system throws up roadblocks.
What are they hiding at the Fed that’s so important it can’t see the light of day? Americans are told to trust these so-called “experts” who keep tanking the dollar, driving up the price of gas and groceries, and inflating the cost of living. Yet when someone asks for a little transparency, suddenly the judge’s gavel comes down in favor of secrecy and business as usual.
Let’s not forget—this is the same crowd that claims to care about the poor, while they throw taxpayer money at marble foyers and fancy drapes. The hypocrisy is stunning, but it’s nothing new from the coastal elite. They bend the rules when it helps their fellow insiders and crush anyone who threatens to rock the boat.
America can’t keep looking the other way while unelected bureaucrats and their liberal protectors waste our money behind closed doors. If judges are going to keep blocking investigations into our “elite” institutions, maybe it’s time we ask the real question—who’s pulling their strings?
