The activist judges are at it again. Americans just watched, stunned, as yet another unelected federal judge swooped in to block the Department of Justice from subpoenaing Jerome Powell, the powerful man running the Federal Reserve. This is the same Judge James Boasberg—the one liberals cheer and conservatives know all too well for repeatedly throwing roadblocks in front of President Trump’s America First agenda. Republicans once went after Boasberg for his role in the Arctic Frost scandal. Now he’s making headlines for protecting one of the most untouchable elites in the swamp.
Let’s break it down: The DOJ wanted answers from Powell. Why was he playing games with interest rates when the country needed relief? But Boasberg wouldn’t let the investigation move forward. Instead, he claimed it was all just a political stunt from the Trump administration—alleging, with zero evidence, that it was about pressuring the Fed to act in the nation’s best interest. Apparently, pushing back against globalist bankers is a crime now, at least in the twisted logic of the D.C. courts.
The arrogance is staggering. Not only did Boasberg block the subpoenas, he brushed off any concern about real wrongdoing. According to him, Powell hadn’t done anything wrong except fail to make President Trump happy. Translation: If you upset the ruling class—especially the puppet masters pulling the strings of our economy—liberal judges will always have your back. Anyone fighting for Main Street gets the door slammed in their face.
While hard-working Americans struggle with inflation, rising food prices, and a shaky economy, the elites get a free pass. The same liberals who screamed about transparency for years are now cheering when their favorite central banker gets protected. The left is so obsessed with opposing Trump that they’ll excuse anything to undermine the America First movement—even if it means propping up the very establishment that caused so much pain to Middle America.
How many times do we have to watch this charade before people see what’s happening? The courts are being weaponized against the will of the American voter. Elites like Powell and Boasberg pal around behind closed doors while the rest of us pay the price. If unelected judges can shield powerful bureaucrats whenever it suits their agenda, is democracy even real in this country anymore?
