Global Media Mourns Fallen Tyrant While Ignoring Real Victims

There’s really no limit to how out of touch the globalist media can get. The recent uproar shows just how far some so-called “journalists” will go to coddle tyrants and lecture free people. After Iran’s murderous Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was finally eliminated thanks to decisive action from the United States and Israel, you’d think civilized folks would at least breathe a sigh of relief. Instead, elitist outlets spent their energy moaning and groaning, upset that the world’s lost a brutal dictator.

Let’s get one thing straight: Khamenei was no misunderstood leader. He was the iron fist behind decades of terror, torture, and religious oppression. Civilians—especially women and religious minorities—suffered under his regime while he fueled chaos across the Middle East. His hands were stained with the blood of both Iranians and Americans. But when he meets his end, the usual suspects in the press shed crocodile tears.

Why? Because to the global left and their comfort-zone journalists, anyone who stands up to the “evil West” gets a free pass. Maybe it makes them feel sophisticated to wring their hands whenever America and its allies take bold action. Maybe their cocktail parties go a little smoother if they always side against the United States. But let’s not pretend this is about morality. This is raw, anti-American bias—plain and simple.

True Americans see through the charade. There’s no sorrow here for a man who built his legacy on misery and death. The people of Iran deserve to live free, without the shadow of a despotic Ayatollah lording over every aspect of their lives. When the world becomes safer and tyrants fall, that’s a win for everyone who values freedom and decency.

If only Western journalists were as upset about the suffering of real victims as they are about the fate of one dead dictator. But that would require actual courage—something the global media has clearly run out of. When did rooting for tyrants become fashionable, and how long will the West keep pretending it doesn’t see the game being played?
