The rats are jumping ship—and it looks like a few of them are headed straight for Canada. While the Biden administration wrings its hands and liberals pretend everything’s fine, evidence keeps piling up that big players from the Iranian regime are looking for a new home base. And Canada, with its soft-on-everyone policies, seems to be rolling out the red carpet.
This relocation effort didn’t just start last month when Israel and the Trump administration put real pressure on Iran. It’s been brewing for a while. You don’t have regime officials and their families suddenly buying property in Vancouver and Toronto by accident. They know what’s coming. The real question is: why is our neighbor to the north so eager to play host to the bad guys?
Canadians are entitled to welcome whoever they want, but let’s not kid ourselves—just because they slap on a smile and pretend to be neutral doesn’t make them innocent. This is what happens when Western countries forget their values. Instead of standing with America and Israel against the world’s largest sponsor of terror, Canada gives ground and lets the foxes into the henhouse.
It’s no accident that globalists and left-wing politicians bend over backwards to appease regimes like Iran. They think appeasement equals peace. It never does. Every time liberals try to play nice with dictators, the world gets more dangerous. Now, Iranian officials may be stashing their money—and their families—across the border. You can bet they’re not bringing freedom and democracy with them.
Why should Americans have to deal with an emboldened Iranian regime, now cozy in a Western country just above our heads? If liberals keep letting the wolves in, who’s going to protect the sheep? Maybe it’s time to stop listening to the “woke” crowd and start demanding some backbone from our so-called allies. Or are we supposed to believe that letting terror regimes relocate is just “open-mindedness”? Give us a break.
