Cuba erupts as starving citizens torch communist HQ and expose the left’s paradise as a nightmare

Cuba is in chaos, and it’s about time Americans pay attention. The so-called workers’ paradise promised by the communists is nothing but a crumbling nightmare. This week, angry Cubans were so fed up with lies and empty stomachs that they attacked their own Communist Party headquarters, even trying to burn it down. That’s desperation you can see in real time—a generation sick of oppression finally finding the guts to fight back.

It’s no coincidence that all this rage is boiling over now. Thanks to decisive actions under the Trump administration, Venezuela—the main pipeline that propped up Cuba with oil—finally got reeled in. Without Venezuelan oil, Cuba’s communist regime is exposed for the fraud it is. That’s how you pressure dictators: cut off their lifelines, dry up their resources, and watch their control slip away. The left loves to cry about American intervention. But turning an enemy into a reluctant partner has done more to spark freedom in Cuba than decades of empty speeches from globalist elites.

You won’t hear this from liberal media lapdogs. They’d rather prop up their narrative that socialism just needs a “little more time” or “better leaders.” Meanwhile, everyday Cubans are hungry, desperate, and furious. Their protests aren’t about “reform”—they want the whole rotten system tossed into the trash heap of history. But where are the open borders activists now? Are they demanding that these people get the same “humanitarian sympathy” as someone crossing into Texas?

The truth is, socialist experiments always end the same way: empty shelves, angry mobs, and bloated bureaucrats clinging to power. America’s elites sip cocktails while pretending communism just hasn’t been “done right.” Yet real people are risking their lives, attacking the strongholds of tyranny. Maybe the so-called defenders of democracy in D.C. should start defending real liberty on our doorstep instead of coddling the same failed ideas at home.

Isn’t it telling that true revolution comes from hungry people, not liberal college kids wearing Che Guevara T-shirts? Maybe next time the left defends socialism, someone should show them a live feed from Havana. Let’s ask them—how much longer should Cubans wait for their “fair share”?
